Abstract

The DEC-10 administrative system of National Chiao-Tung University is resulted by making an extension of the original system that is provided by the DEC-10 manufacture from the UFD basis into the SFD basis for meeting the special requirement of our computer center. This paper will present a detail description of this extension which consists of administrative control files, control file maintenance programs, administrative control programs, accounting process and failsaving programs. Some of them are resulted by making modification of the original system while the others by adding on.
