dc.description.abstract"I’m a British expatriate in France with a British and Hong Konger Hakka background, studying International Economics and planning to pursue a master’s in journalism. I chose NYCU for its location in Hsinchu and high-quality courses, and I’ve been impressed by the small, interactive classes. Learning Mandarin here has been fast and enjoyable thanks to the supportive environment. While the dorms differ from European standards, adjusting to campus life was easy. Hsinchu’s calm atmosphere is perfect for studying, and Taipei is just a weekend trip away. The food has been a standout—varied, affordable, and delicious!en_US
