dc.description.abstractBeattie's continuous (acceptannce) sampling plan (CSP)is very easy to operate once the parameters (k,h,h*) are chosen for given an Acceptable Quality Level (AQL)p1,a Rejectable Quality Level (RQL)p2,the consumer's risk α and producer's risk β. In this paper, a method for determining the parameters of Beattie's CSP is proposed.Given an AQL p1,a RQL p2, and α,β,this method gives a faster way to get the appropriate parameters, so that P(a|p1)≧1-α and P(a|p2)≦β,which is difficult to do by means of previously published methods.We begin reviewing the exsiting methods, then we describe our method.Finally, a selection of plans under the binomial assumption are provided.en_US
